Dr. Higgins attended the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and cardiology at the Maine Medical Center with subsequent interventional cardiology training at the Beth Israel Medical Center / Harvard Medical School. His interests include the endovascular management of coronary artery, peripheral artery, and carotid artery disease. Dr. Higgins is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, Interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology.
